Educational activities

The D'Amico Foundation organizes annually the Course on Advances in Nephrology, Dialysis, and Transplantation, which is a recognized fundamental educational event, regularly attended by more than 1000 participants.
A simultaneous translation italian-english and vice-versa is going on for the entire duration of the Course, because of the International origin of both speakers and attendees.

The Course programme is always specifically designed to offer the most timely update on the hottest topics in Nephrology, Dialysis and Kidney Transplantation. Furthermore, this year (December 5-8, 2008), we will celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Course, with a special, more international and celebrative edition. 

The Course Proceedings are then published either in a booklet and in electronic format on our website.

The Foundation periodically organizes also specialized Short-Courses, generally devoted to practical aspects and laboratory activities.
The next short-course, is organized by Università Degli Studi di Milano - Dipartimento di Scienze Precliniche LITA Vialba, together with our Foundation, and will be held on September 26, 2008.
