Shower with warm or luke warm water. Water at this temperature is good for the skin as it is mild. Hot water shower may damage the skin, make it dry and cause it to lose its natural oils. After a bath pat your skin with a soft towel instead of rubbing it to dry it off. Rubbing the skin can irritate it, while patting will leave some moisture on it.

If you have to shave your hair with a razor, use sharp, fresh razors and shaving gels or creams. Do not use normal body soap and wash. Shaving gels and creams help to condition the hair and skin, that makes it easy to shave. It is also recommended that one shaves their hair in the direction their hair is growing and not against as this will prevents razor burns and bumps.


If one is to use products on their skin, they need to use natural, mineral-based products that are from trusted, reputable brands. Avoid cheap brand product for this may have harmful chemicals that may harm the skin. One product that is important is a sunscreen, it will help protect one from the sun.
